In a surprising collaboration that challenges usual predictions, the game developer has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of banned practices and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden sect.
The adventure centers on "peculiar trials and a monstrous enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Transformations
The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Items and Additional Features
Players who finish the mission will obtain an special katana alongside numerous objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
